Finding a chord made easy!

I would choose ChordMaster as the best iPhone musical app.

First off, it's not an app that does everything; it won't give you alternative tunings (sorry Metalheads!), but it will give you basic chords in a pinch. Why is that important? Everyone knows that when you're online reading a tab or chord chart, you encounter a chord or two that makes you scratch your head.

Instead of hunting through old books or trying to figure it out by ear, ChordMaster lets you plug it in. Not only that, but it lets you replicate the sound and the strum, enabling you to really get an ear for what the chord is and how it relates to the tune. The graphics are pretty decent.

Could they be better? Sure. But really, the major aspect of this app is its ability to cut down time in hunting for where your fingers go on the fretboard. Simply plug in, get the chart, and go!
