by Jammie
(Austin, Texas)

1. Pandora - its free personalized radio right on your ipod! You can use your Pandora account on your ipod. You can create stations based on your liking.

2. Last.fm – similar to Pandora. I love personalized radios, hence these choices. You can also get music recommendations from this app.

3. Imeem – you could access their Imeem library on the go with this app. You can discover new music, create stations and stream free music.

4. Slacker - gives you access to unlimited free music on your iPhone. The sound quality is great and it’s free to download.

5. Shazam-It gets hold of that song through the iphone mic and identifies the album, artist and song title for you. Great thing about this is its free.

6. PocketGuitar- It turns your iPhone a virtual guitar which you can actually play like a real guitar. It can be changed into 6 different instruments.

7. Cleartune - it helps you tune any musical instrument using your iPhone. It lets you find the right pitch and tune for your musical instrument.

8. Pocket Shaker - it’s a free app which can turn your iPhone into a cool percussion instrument. As you keep shaking, it keeps changing to the random percussion instruments

9. Midomi Ultra – it’s like Shazam because it can identify music in a snap. You just need to take your iPhone near a speaker and it can identify a song.

10. Mixmeister Scratch – it lets you scratch anywhere and anytime you want. You can even do it one top of the song playing in your iPhone/iPod touch. Cool isn’t it?
