My Chiropractic Experience

Many years ago I was in a car crash, I attended a physiotherapist regularly to help recover from whiplash.
Recently, I developed severe headaches every day which sometimes paracetamol could not relieve. The doctor notified me it was probably due to muscle tension. I went to see a physiotherapist but did not get relief. I then tried a chiropractor that my dad always went to. The chiropractor was great, first he assessed me and sent me off for X-Rays. The following appointment he revealed that my neck was not curved enough resulting in my headaches and that one leg was longer than the other resulting in a tilted pelvis and curved spine. I visited the chiropractor regularly with appointment times gradually decreasing.
The chiropractor would crack my spine and neck to relieve the pressure and use a machine to loosen my muscles, and also rubbed joint cream in. He showed me some stretches I could do to relieve my headaches and I even bought a memory foam pillow. Now I rarely get headaches and see the chiropractor every 4 weeks compared to 3 times a week. The chiropractor was a great help to me, and although I still experience headaches and muscle tension, it has improved immensely since seeing a chiropractor.
