Sennheiser HD 448 = the Best

by Jordan
(St. Louis, MO, USA)

The Sennheiser HD 448 has my vote for the best headphones I've used. I bought a pair of these from the Tweeter. I was impressed with the highs and midrange on the HD44.

The highs were clear and the mids sound pure, authentic and very smooth. They deliver a very clear and detailed sound with a good sense of space. It's also a well balanced sound. This comes in handy because I have recently gotten into classic and acoustic music. These headphones give a very deep, rich and very relaxing sound. The detail also helped contribute to the rich sound and as a guitar player myself, helps me pick up notes much easier. Some will say that the bass comes out too strong, but if you adjust the settings of your amp correctly, you can make it better. Another great thing about these headphones is that they are light. They are very comfortable on my head, because the ear cup has leatherette padding and on top of the band to relieve pressure on the top of your head. At $130, these headphones are a great buy!
