About Me

Working up to an RSI Arm

by Rafael
(Timisoara)

I had a job as a bit of an everyman in a warehouse for about six months up to April this year.
My main and real task was to work with a computer, but I manually handled freight quite a lot, doing unhealthy heavy lifting.

I wasn't forced to do it, technically, but if I wanted to complete the work I'd set out to do without asking for help (a pet peeve of mine) it was required.

The result was a painful right elbow that utterly refused to straighten all the way. I tried to sort it out with several kinds of unguents, mostly to reduce any would be inflammation, but nothing really helped because I continued to do the heavy lifting.

When I quit my job, my elbow recovered completely within a few days.
