About Me

Yea I did give up!

Honestly, I loathed playing the violin.

To me, it sounded awful and nearly always made me uncomfortable when I played it.

I'd never take care of my violin and, instead, would put it laying around, throw it somewhere quick, or hit people with it.

In 6th grade, it actually broke in 2 pieces but later was superglued back to health.

During Jr. High, we were supposed to practice 100 minutes per week, but I would do about 5 minutes or so before playing tests and forge my parent's signature on the practice record.

Last school year (9th grade), I completely quit orchestra, which is something I greatly regret today.

For the first time in a while, I began searching for my old violin in the garage and watching YouTube videos on how to play the violin again.

I relearned how to properly hold the violin all the way to memorizing some scales.

Now I am practicing about 10 minutes each day and plan to join orchestra next year again.

Maybe there's a moral here?
